Get Schuff Done Workshops; Going All In On A Password Manager App

Get Schuff Done Workshops; Going All In On A Password Manager App

Five workshop-y, actionable, in-the-moment sessions in Jason Staats Realize Community.

Workshop Four - Going All In On A Password Manager App

It can seem daunting to go all in on a password manager; to let go of the ease of using Chrome to store your login details, to not use your pet/child name and “1234!” at the end of those names (not that anyone does that)and to give up control of knowing your passwords.

This was me. I knew I had to adopt a password manager. My password “system” stank - it was insecure and frustrating. But it was the enemy I knew.

So, although I signed up for 1Password, I was not engaged in it. I didn’t love it - in fact, I loathed it. But I made a deal with myself to dive in, I set a deadline to get my act together and go all-in on it. It was intense, frustrating and painful - but only for a few days. When it was all set up a wonderful thing happened. Once I went all in, it turns out I loved using my 1Password.

I did not see this coming. Before I went all in, I was fully committed to not embracing this change. Now, I want to help you experience loving a password manager.

This workshop is dedicated to giving you the actionable steps to get this done and dusted!

Just because it’s simple does not mean it’s easy!

It may seem obvious that you must implement or improve your processes and technology choices for the above workshops. Still, many of us haven’t because we need support and accountability to get them done. Fires are burning, and it is easier to deal with those if you haven’t committed to a group setting to get schtuff done.

So commit! Join us! Let’s get schtuff done!

These live sessions will be recorded, and workshop materials will be downloaded and referred to.

This is a Realize Community event series. You must be a member to participate.

I highly recommend you join Jason Staats's amazing group - you will love it there!

Get Schuff Done Workshops; Rocking An Online Scheduler

Get Schuff Done Workshops; Rocking An Online Scheduler

Four workshop-y, actionable, in-the-moment sessions in Jason Staats Realize Community.

Workshop Four - Rocking An Online Scheduler

Let's get you set up in one of the most efficiency-creating apps in existence - the automagical online scheduler.

Manage your time without wasting your time managing it, have your boundaries enforced for you, get paid for out-of-scope meetings and "I just need to pick your brain a little" asks.

It doesn’t matter what scheduler you want to set up - 17Hats, Acuity, Book Like A Boss, Calendly, TidyCal … they are all great. What matters is you join us to get one set up.

This workshop will make you accountable for subscribing to a scheduler and starting the set-up process.

“Putting on your shoes is the hardest part of going for a run.”

Let’s take it to the next level, even if you already use a scheduler. This workshop will make you sit down and add/enhance your booking slots by creating new boundaries and clearer expectations using key forms and questions.

The process is the same for all online schedulers, so let’s do it together so it gets done!

Just because it’s simple does not mean it’s easy!

It may seem obvious that you must implement or improve your processes and technology choices for the above workshops. Still, many of us haven’t because we need support and accountability to get them done. Five workshop-y, actionable, in-the-moment sessions in Jason Staats Realize Community.

Workshop Five - Chrome Identities, Themes & Customization – How To Create Insane Work Efficiency In The Cloud

The cloud accounting and business software that many accounting professionals are embracing, learning about – or are scared of – is internet-based.

Your browser setup and user habits largely dictate your cloud technology experience.

Optimizing your Chrome browser makes the cloud app user experience more productive and less frustrating and can save you huge amounts of time.

In this workshop, we will optimize your Chrome browser.

We will walk through setting up identities and themes, adding extensions, and using folders with bookmarks to move through actions. You will also learn how to synch your “now perfect browser” across multiple devices—work from everywhere, anytime, using a system you love.

We will demo how you can quickly set your team and clients up with their own custom browsers so they can collaborate with you more efficiently. You will make their day as efficient as yours!

In particular, we will set up QBO navigation and deep links - you will love how quickly you can move through your QBO actions!

Just because it’s simple does not mean it’s easy!

It may seem obvious that you must implement or improve your processes and technology choices for the above workshops. Still, many of us haven’t because we need support and accountability to get them done. I am excited to be hosting a session on “Systems & Automation You Will Love”.

Have you always wanted to run an automated cloud-based firm but never knew where to start?

And every accounting or tax conference you attended told you that you “should” be in the cloud but never “how” to move there.

After attending several of these events and talking to several traditional accountants and tax preparers, you still feel lost in the sea of software and apps.

Well, the Taking Your Firm Virtual Summit will show you how to take your firm confidently and securely to the cloud.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to position your business to thrive in the future.

The standard accounting and tax conferences aren’t thinking about these things. And that's why this free event is just for YOU!

Over 3 days you'll hear from 30+ speakers about everything from the must-have technology tools to run a cloud-based firm to finding and hiring the best remote talent.

App Pack Series - How to Set Up end-to-end Automation for Your Firm and Scale Faster

App Pack Series - How to Set Up end-to-end Automation for Your Firm and Scale Faster

In this webbie - which is part of the APP Pack Series, hosted by Financial Cents, Plooto and Wagepoint - we will talk about critical areas for firms to automate, why it's important, and how to use Financial Cents, Wagepoint and Plooto to do the systemization and automation heavy lifting.

Manual tasks are inefficient and unscalable.

If you are a firm owner or team member who spends much time on these tasks, you lose money that could have been earned by spending time on billable work. However, with several apps vying for your attention, choosing the right software can be difficult, even confusing. You don’t want to have a scattered tech stack that doesn’t flow together.

In this webinar, we want to show you why it’s critical for you to move to end-to-end automation and show you how to begin with FC, Wagepoint, and Plooto.
