PSA: QBO Sales PDFs May Not Be Going Out With Emails

- All of my template workflows include details like this, and my Standard Operating Process Guides are start to finish standards for apps and internal processes.

PSA: QBO made a random change to the Accountants' "Your Books" online delivery of invoices.

It may have unchecked the add PDF option. If you had this on previously, you need to go back into your settings, sales, and online delivery and recheck.

The advantage of having the PDFs attached is that if you send your sales into a document management app like Dext/Hubdoc or if your clients direct the email there, it will be posted and OCR'd. If you don't have the PDF attached, it may not, and it won't capture the sales tax if you don't have "full details" in the email checked.

I checked my clients’ files, and they still have the PDF attached option clicked. It seems that only “Your Books” are affected.

Simply yours, Kellie :-}
